Empowering another Community

Gladys Zulu has taken on her new oven project in Marianhill with an energy like no other. Up early in the mornings with fellow bakers, Zethu and Ntombi, they bake bread, snowballs, chelsea buns and pizza’s and have found a good niche in the community to sell their products. Their enthusiasm is catchy and they are a delight to mentor. Women empowerment is so important going forward in South Africa and it’s wonderful that Celebrate Life is paving a way for this to happen. The ovens are fired by a small wood fire and bakers can bake 4 loaves of bread every 25 minutes. Such an awesome sustainable project.
