Help us
Rebuild KZN
During the second week of July, 2021, the provinces of KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng were disrupted with violence and looting, partly in response to former President Jacob Zuma’s arrest and partly due to the socio-economic issues dividing our country.
In order to help us continue to rebuild our province, we are asking for any and all donations and support. Our Microbakery Ovens are specially-made and cost R40 000 per oven. This is a great way for large businesses to spend their CSR budgets, as we provide SED, ED and Section 18A Tax Certificates. We are 100% South African black-beneficiary-based thanks to our successful, sustainable women empowerment project.
Please email: cherry@celebratelifesa.org for large donations, or for any queries relating to donating
Alternatively, please use this link to make a direct payment:
Other donations of any type are most welcome as we rebuild our beautiful KwaZulu-Natal.
- Bread Credits: You buy credits and we buy the bread and distribute loaves to those who need it most. On a R2500 donation, we can feed between 800 – 1000 children at local schools and creches every day of the month.
- Ingredients: Donate flour, eggs, milk or other ingredients to the CL team to distribute to ovens and bake greater quantities for those in need
A View through my Teardrops
We work tirelessly to improve the lives of others, working in communities to bring sustainable living to women, feeding children who cannot be supported by the government, working with a passion from the burning African soul of ours to uplift and improve the inequality in this country.
Today, through the tears in my eyes, I see utter devastation, anarchy and all the good work we try so hard to attain, is utterly wasted and thrown into the dust and smoke of this uprising.
Staff cannot get to work to earn their pittance, hospitals have no staff as there is no transport, the vaccination roll out is at a standstill which affects hundreds of people. All our input into society… up in smoke.
I cry for this beloved country, Africa beats in my soul…. But no one can rectify the inequality we have, no matter how hard we try.
Through the tears in my eyes, I beg for fairness, basic human rights and a chance to be as democratic as we proclaim to be. As the founder of Celebrate Life SA, I see our beautiful Africa in flames…. And my tears keep falling………
