Training of new bakers in the  Manyoni community near Mkuze shows off our mentoring skills and ongoing commitment to our bakers in the fiel

This week saw a donation of a container and microbakery by Dezzo Roofing in New Germany, to give Samkelisiwe the chance to become the best baker ever and supply all workers in the area with much needed bread and cakes to take home.

Jabulile is an entrepreneur in her own right in the community and has received her new microbakery to enhance what she offers to her community.

Nonhlanhle and her team are wonderful entrepreneurs, growing vegetables for the community and breeding chickens.

We have partnered with Crossroads NGO and the first bakery has been placed in Ndwedwe with Zibuyisile at the helm.

Our collective bakers at the new Umbumbulu “Shakes Bakery ” include Tholakele Ngcobo, Daphney Nxele, Ivy Ngcobo, Thabisile Ngcobo and they will be baking to supply the spaza shop which Shakes runs.

Our second bakery near Nyalazi campsite was installed this week with Ncane Manqele at the helm.

Vela Njapha, the headman in the small community of Ndumakude,  sent us a heartfelt request to uplift and empower the ladies in his community.

Sibahle( Joyful) has embraced her new Ubunbtu Micro Bakery into her community project in Umtwalume on the South Coast.
