Celebrate Life supports charity in style

The Mount Edgcombe Country Club hosted the Celebrate Life Annual Golf day on the 24th June 2015. “Perfect weather, wonderful support and a fine golf course all contributed to the making the day a great success,” says Cherry Armstrong, Founder of Celebrate Life SA.

The prize-giving was preceded by an auction conducted by former Sharks, Springbok Coach and Rugby Celebrity, Ian Macintosh. Funds raised will be donates to the Thula Thula Rhino Sanctuary and towards the highly sustainable oven project in rural communities, empowering women and children.

The winners of the competition, a Four Ball Alliance, were Albert Berger, Shaun Laing, Daniel Airet and Blake Nolte.

“Since the last golf day,” mentioned Armstrong, “Celebrate Life has had a team of ladies climb Mount Meru, one of Africa’s highest peaks which also contributed to Rhino Conservation as well as the very successful community bread making projects.”

Celebrate Life SA is an organisation aimed at creating awareness and facilitating support across society to alleviate human and environmental suffering, using the energy of committed individuals, social networks and broadcast platforms.
